SECTION 219 INITIATIVE
Acadiana Regional Development District is working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide assistance to water-related environmental infrastructure, resource protection and development projects.
Types of projects include
- Wastewater treatment and related facilities
- Water supply, storage, treatment, and distribution facilities
- Infrastructure master planning
Cost Sharing Project Guidelines
- 75% Federal Share
- 25% Non-federal Share
- cash
- credit for lands, easements, rights of way, relocations, and dredge material disposal areas (LERDD)
- no work in-kind credits are authorized
