Acadiana Regional Development District is a regional planning and resource center for the State of Louisiana, serving the eight parishes (counties) of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. ARDD's mission is to promote and foster economic development through regional partnerships and cooperation.
ARDD can assist clients with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

- statistical & demographic data
- information and referrals
- liaison to local and state governments

The Louisiana Recovery Authority (LRA) board approved reallocating $500 million in federal funding to the state's Long Term Community Recovery Program at its meeting Tuesday, raising the proposed allocation for parishes to implement their visions for the future to $700 million.
